I love this spot. A friend in the area showed me on my visit last. It took the walk from Consett. 4 miles there n back. It honestly was the best morning ive spent with myself. Breakfast was inexpensive and great. The view on the walk there and over breakfast!! I cant wait to visit again. 🥰🥰🥰
Full breakfast with OJ was $8.42.
First time trying fried bread. I havent come across that too often but loved it!!

Just off the Lanchester/Consett cycle track this lovely tearoom serves delicious food and a selection of drinks. You can sit indoor or on the terrace with panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Really friendly café with good food. Outdoor seating and good views mean it'll be even better in the summer. Will have the toffee crunch pie too when I feel like I've earned it!

Walked 3 miles to this place on a cold Sunday afternoon, got there for 3:20pm (signage said open till 4pm). Looking forward to a hot cup of tea and maybe a slice of cake.
On arrival, the door was locked and a woman was mopping the floor, completely ignoring us.
Not exactly welcoming.
Beautiful location and just off the intersection of two major walkways.
Seems to be a working farm so expect animal noises and smells!
Noticed the caravans looked really shabby and in need of a clean.
Left cold and disappointed.
