we had an amazing and successful time with andy learning primitive skills...fire lighting using bow and drill, plus a little bit foraging along the way. Looking forward to doing more courses and foraging in the near future with andy! highly recommended 👌

Had a brilliant day with Andy! He's so full of knowledge and an enthusiastic, patient teacher. He took the time to chat to us about what we wanted to do with plenty of suggestions too. Beautiful site, class day and learnt so much. You could point to any plant and I'm sure Andy could tell you all about it and its hundred uses. So much fun, would really recommend.

I couldn't have asked for anymore from the day I spent with Andy! From the first time I reached out to express interest in learning more, Andy took the time to understand what I wanted out of the day, what would help me and what would suit me well. He then built a day of learning, experience and practice that was bespoke to me. He is exceptionally patient and effortlessly talented at what he does. I was absolutely thrilled with how much I learnt, how much more confidence I had in the technical skills and the appreciation of the experience of working with the materials we had around us and in the foraging plants. I finished the day feeling excited about putting everything Andy had taught me into practise, energised about developing my love for wild camping and bushcraft, and thoroughly recharged having spent the day in the woods. if you haven't yet spent time with Andy, I would wholeheartedly recommend that you have a chat with him.

Had my first half day session with Andy today as a surprise birthday gift for my Mrs and in a nutshell it was epic. We covered: Water filtration Knife skills Knots Fire building Basic shelters with tarps Each topic was broken down into easy to understand chunks of theory then practical examples with Andy's guidance. The cherry on top was Andy. His delivery style, his patience and all round epicness as a person made the day so enjoyable. Thank you again for an epic day and see you again soon for some foraging 😁

Brilliant day with Andy on a full day bushcraft course, would highy recommend! We learned how to make natural cordage, knife skills, how to make a fire, some knotts, how to make a shelter and we did some foraging. Andy was great, what a wealth of knowledge and so canny!

My husband and 10 year old daughter completed a half day course with Andy yesterday. They both had an amazing day learning about survival, building fires, shelters and different types of knots. Andy was great and can’t thank him enough for a great experience. They have enjoyed it that much, that they have gone off wild camping to test out their new skills. Thank you Andy.

What a fabulous day I had with friends learning various bushcraft skills in the woods. Andy is an excellent host and teacher of all things related to surviving outdoors. We had a choice of areas to focus on and we explored various fire starting techniques, water filtration techniques, techniques for gathering/identifying the best materials to start a fire, making shelters, learning handy knots, and identifying edible plants when foraging. Andy has a great circular structure where some of the learning takes place, other areas were just a short walk from the base. I'd certainly return to complete the additional areas that can be explored on survival.

I booked in half a days course to learn the bushcraft and foraging basics for wild camping trips. I learnt about knife and fire skills, and about the medicinal abilities and food sources of the plants nearby! The location was beautiful and Andy was extremely knowledgeable. It was really enjoyable and I'd recommend whether you are outdoorsy or not. Thanks Andy!

I had a great time with Andy on one of his courses. He is an excellent teacher with lots of knowledge and enthusiasm for bushcraft and foraging. I was only out for a day, but feel I have learned lots of helpful tips and techniques in that short time. What I learned about some wild plants and their potential use was fascinating. My partner and I took part in a bushcraft day with Andy yesterday and had the most fantastic time. Despite relentless rain, we covered shelter, foraging, wood carving, made cordage from nettles AND both got a small flame going with a spark and fire kit. The day was everything we could have wanted and more. Andy is friendly, supportive and knowledgable and made the day very fun. Would highly recommend!
